A third-degree heat alert is currently in effect in Hungary. The prolonged extreme heat can place significant strain on the body, making it especially important to take regular breaks in cool environments and stay properly hydrated.
In response, KULTIK Cinemas will open selected air-conditioned screening rooms to the public on June 30 (Tuesday) and July 1 (Wednesday), between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, in participating locations.
During this time slot, anyone is welcome to enter the cinema without a ticket and without any ongoing film screenings, allowing visitors to rest in a quiet, comfortably cool environment and take a break from the heatwave.
This initiative is not tied to any movie screening or ticket purchase, and entry is free of charge for anyone seeking temporary relief from the extreme summer temperatures.
We believe that a cinema is more than just a place for films — it is also part of the community. If we can provide a safe, cool space for people during these exceptionally hot days, we are glad to do so.
